With the aim of including the latest advances in power electronics in INGEGRID™ equipment, Ingeteam boasts the largest power electronics laboratory in southern Europe and one of the biggest in the world.

The testing and validating facilities designed for new developments cover a surface area of 2,000 m², with a capacity for testing equipment over 40 MVA and with voltages up to 15 kV and a team of over 200 international engineers and researchers. 

Besides the routine tests which all INGEGRID™ equipment must undergo, Ingeteam is able to offer its clients combined or customised tests depending on their specifications.

Test capacity:

• PCS test (back to back) up to 30 MW
• PCSs & battery test up to 2 MW

Ingeteam also has storage systems from different manufacturers such as Cegasa Portable Energy, Corvus Energy, FIAMM Energy Storage, Hitachi Chemical, LG Chem, LS Mtron, SAFT Batteries and Valence. This makes it possible to validate the technology used in each case before large-scale installation in the field, as well as extensive experience with storage technologies such as lithium-ion batteries, nickel sodium batteries and super capacitors.
